Bardon Close is home of Bardon Hill Sports. Bardon Hill Sports is my (Ross) nearest football ground, which is situated 0.6 miles away from my home according to Google Maps. Therefore, I cycled on this particular journey which saw me arrive at Bardon Close at 2:15pm.
After locking my bike up in the car park, I made my way towards the stewards where I bought a programme for £1.00 and paid my admission into the ground which was £5.00 (OAPs - £3.00, but no children’s prices).
Inside the ground, is one stand which is opposite the dug-outs and behind the far end goal was Bardon Quarry. Also in the ground, is a refreshments cabin where they serve Food (Bacon buttie - £1.50) and Drinks (Tea – 50p).
The outcome of the game saw top of the table Bardon lose 5-0 against mid table Gresley.
Overall, my local trip to Bardon Hill Sports was an enjoyable afternoon and a very entertaining game. I hope to pay more visits to Bardon Hill Sports after this afternoons visit.
